Rev. Keene came to Parma-South in November, 2001, after 43 years in ministry. His last 30 years before retirement were at Miles Park on the southeast side of Cleveland. He also served parishes in Herington, Kansas, and Amherst, Ohio. He is a graduate of The College of Wooster and his M.Div. is from Princeton Theological Seminary. Bill has an additional M.A. in Pastoral Counseling and Psychology from Ashland Seminary. He and his wife, Dorie, are parents of eight children and they have fourteen grandchildren. The Keenes reside in Avon, Ohio.
Lisa Padgett - Lisa is a wife of 4 years to David Padgett, residing in Parma Heights. Growing up she attended Calvary Baptist Church in Avon Lake, and was married in the New Apostolic Church in Parma. A resident of Ohio all her life, she attended and graduated from a non-denominational high school in Elyria, and later pursued her Associate of Arts Degree from Lorain County Community College. Lisa enjoys being a secretary to Parma-South Presbyterian Church, stating that the members have all been kind and patient while she has learned her responsibilities in the church. In her spare time, she enjoys knitting baby blankets for her nieces and nephews and going for walks with David in the summer evenings.
Jan Fritzsche - Church Financial/Membership Secretary since May of
1991. Started out as part-time help; increased her hours as the children got
older. Grew up in Bay Village but has lived in Parma or Parma Heights for 29
years. Husband, Gil, is retired from the Parma City Schools. I
thoroughly enjoy my work here at Parma-South which is made even better because
of the kindness of its members.
Judith (Judy) became our Director of Music officially on August 1st, 2004. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Music from Concordia University and her Master of Music from Northwestern University. She was awarded the Bertha D. Bower Award for superior accomplishments in the field of church music. She is an accomplished organist and has served as organist and choir director in various denominations in Chicago, North Carolina, Houston and Indianapolis. Her duties have included keyboard, organ and a wide variety of music for Traditional, Blended and Contemporary Services. She worked and served as advisor to "Praise Band" and developed a Hand Bell Program for groups ranging from Grade One up to Senior Citizens. She has also presented organ recitals throughout the midwest and southern states as well as major choral programs when appropriate, consisting of music, drama, visual arts and so forth.
Pam Nash became our Director of Education on August 1, 2005. Pam was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia growing up at Trinity Presbyterian Church. She has always been involved in the church ever since she can remember helping with various childrens programs such as teaching Sunday school and worship enrichment. She also was a Girl Scout Troop leader for 3 years. Married to Tom since 1989 and have 2 kids, Andy & Emily. The Nash family were transfered to Clevelend in 2003 due to a promotion for Tom. Pam has an active involvement in both kids PTA's having just finished a term of Treasurer for the Elementary PTA. She stays very active in her kids activities. She became a member of Parma-South in 2004. Currently they are living in Strongsville.
Bill Loeb is presently Treasurer of Parma-South. He is a graduate of Kent State University. After completing his military commitment in the Air Force, he was employed for five (5) years with Republic Steel and Central National Bank performing accounting and auditing duties. He accepted a position with the Stouffer Corporation in 1959. During the next thirty seven (37) years he held the positions of accountant, controller,vice president and chief financial officer in Stouffer's restaurant and institutional feeding divisions. He and his wife, Donna, lived in Parma Heights for thirty Five (35) years and currently reside in Broadview Heights.
