REV. WILLIAM C. KEENE Parish Associate: Rev. Keene came to Parma-South in November, 2001, after 43 years in ministry. His last 30 years before retirement were at Miles Park on the southeast side of Cleveland. He also served parishes in Herington, Kansas, and Amherst, Ohio. He is a graduate of The College of Wooster and his M.Div. is from Princeton Theological Seminary. Bill has an additional M.A. in Pastoral Counseling and Psychology from Ashland Seminary. He and his late wife, Dorie, are parents of eight children and they have seventeen grandchildren. Rev. Keene reside in Avon, Ohio.
LISA PADGETT - Administrative Secretary: Lisa has been with Parma-South since 2007. She is the wife of David Padgett and resides in Parma Heights. Growing up she attended Calvary Baptist Church in Avon Lake, and was married in the New Apostolic Church in Parma. A resident of Ohio all her life, she graduated from Elyria Christian Academy, a non-denominational high school, and later pursued her Associate of Arts Degree from Lorain County Community College. Lisa enjoys being a secretary to Parma-South Presbyterian Church, stating that the members go above and beyond when caring about others. In her spare time, she enjoys knitting, going for walks with David in the summer evenings.
JANETTE (JAN) FRITZSCHE - Church Financial/Membership Secretary: Jan has been with Parma-South Presbyterian Church since May, 1991. She started out as a part-time financial person but in 1997 added some hours to her schedule and the duties of the Membership Secretary. Jan grew up in Bay Village but has lived in Parma or Parma Heights for more than 32 years. Her husband, Gil, is a retired administrator for the Parma City School District. They have two daughters who both live locally and two grandchildren. She thoroughly enjoys working at Parma-South, a job made even better because of the kindness of its members.
JUDITH (JUDY) KURTH - Director of Music: Judith (Judy) became our Director of Music officially on August 1st, 2004. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Music from Concordia University and her Master of Music from Northwestern University. She was awarded the Bertha D. Bower Award for superior accomplishments in the field of church music. She is an accomplished organist and has served as organist and choir director in various denominations in Chicago, North Carolina, Houston and Indianapolis. Her duties have included keyboard, organ and a wide variety of music for Traditional, Blended and Contemporary Services. She worked and served as advisor to "Praise Band" and developed a Hand Bell Program for groups ranging from Grade One up to Senior Citizens. She has also presented organ recitals throughout the midwest and southern states as well as major choral programs when appropriate, consisting of music, drama, visual arts and so forth.
PAMELA (PAM) NASH - Director of Education: Pam Nash became our Director of Education on August 1, 2005. Pam was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia growing up at Trinity Presbyterian Church. She has always been involved in the church ever since she can remember helping with various children's programs such as teaching Sunday school and worship enrichment. She also was a Girl Scout Troop leader for 3 years. Pam has two teenagers, Andy and Emily. Both kids are in High School and attend Padua Franciscan High School in Parma. Pam became a member of Parma-South in 2004. Currently they are living in Parma Heights.
JANET WILSON - Parish Nurse: Janet became our Parish Nurse in January, 2009. We share Janet with John Knox Presbyterian Church. She is part time Parish Nurse for both churches. Janet was born and raised on a farm in Pennsylvania. She came to the Cleveland area to attend nursing school at St. Lukes Hospital and has lived here since then. Most of Janets nursing experience has been in Intensive Care and Surgery. Janet and her husband have raised 3 children. Janet lives in North Royalton; she enjoys her grandchildren, golf and dancing.
