FELLOWSHIP CLUB - THEATRE & TRAVEL

The plays at Wooster, this summer are:
- "Kismet" Thursday, June 24, 2010. We will leave the church at 12:15 pm.
- "Gypsy" Thursday, July 29, 2010. We will leave the church at 12:15 pm.
Both are to be followed with dinner at Des Essenhaus in Shreve. Cost is $74/ person - hasn't changed from last year. Send your payment with reservations to Frank Kuhn.

FLASH MERCURY SUMMER STOCK THEATRE: Season tickets available for 3 musicals each at 7:30pm, on Fridays, June 18, July 16 and August 13. All three musicals are $30 and at the Parma Little Theatre (adjacent to Parma High School)

Rev. Keene is in Lancaster, PA this weekend. He is conducting the funeral service for Bette Nelson, sister of his late wife.

Memorial Easter Lily and Parish Nurse order forms are available in the Church Office. The cost is $12.50 per lily with orders due by March 12th - you can still place an order by Monday, March 15th. It is important that all information is completed so that we may accurately reflect your memorial wishes. Please call the church office at (440) 885- 2652 with any questions.

CONFIRMATION CLASS UPDATED!

Attention 8th & 9th Graders and their Parents! It's not too late to join our Confirmation Classes. We had our initial introduction class and will begin this week to "dig in" to the class. For your convenience, classes are being held Wednesdays from March 10 thru May 5 at 6:45 -8pm in the Jr/ Sr High classroom upstairs. Please call the church office to sign up or if you have any questions, please call Pam Nash at the church, (440) 885-2652.

WNL FOR ADULTS:

Eat with us or eat at home. WNL offers family-friendly meals each Wednesday at 6 pm. If you want to eat at home and then come to the Adult Bible Study, please be here by 6:45 pm when the study begins. We'll conclude at 8 pm. See you here!

GREETERS NEEDED!

On Sunday mornings it is important that we greet our church visitors and friends with a smile and a warm welcome as they come to worship with us. At the present time, we would like your help to fill the 2010 calendar. Two people are needed around 10 am each Sunday. Lenten Luncheon Study:

From Feb. 18 - March 25, Rev. Juengel will begin a six week Lenten study series looking at how we discover spiritual bread in the wilderness of life. He will be using Kenneth Carter Jr.'s book "Bread in the Wilderness" for the basis of study as we remember God's faithfulness in the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. The series will be held on Thursday afternoons beginning at noon. We will provide the soup you bring a Bible and a friend. Please sign up by calling the church office.

IS IT deja vu?

No. It's FISH DINNER II! The Dinner Group is having a second fish dinner on March 26th from 5-7 pm. So if you missed out on the baked fish, cole slaw, potatoes, dessert and beverages from February, here's your chance! Tickets are available through Mike Fanous, Major Graham or the Church office. You may also may reservations up till 4 pm on March 26th at the pre-sale rate. The cost? Advance is $8/ adult, $3.50/ child 9 and under. It will be $1 more at the door.

FELLOWSHIP CLUB MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT:

Hello! Our next Interfaith Hospitality Network week is starting on April 11th and continues to April 17th at Ridgewood United Methodist Church.
