- - The "Flood of 2008" background work continues. Properties is working with our agent and a contractor to acquire additional repair funds. The restoration of the lower level should begin by late June.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIVE

Although Patch the Pirate has moved on for the season, we are still gathering on Wednesday's in May to practice for the Memorial Day Performance coming up on May 26, 2008. If you have any questions, please contact Pam Nash.

NAME TAGS

Did you find your name tag this morning? After further thought, we have decided to keep all racks in the FELLOWSHIP HALL. We are encouraging you to take your name tag with you. KEEP IT IN YOUR CAR so it will be with you when you arrive next Sunday. Should you not find your name tag, please make a note of that on the Friendship Pad and we will have one for next week. Thank you for your cooperation. - The Membership Committee

BOOK REVIEW GROUP

Reverend Malcolm Shields will review STONE COLD a novel by David Baldacci at our May 14 meeting. This novel is a sequel to THE CAMEL CLUB. It is described as an unforgettable novel of revenge, conspiracy and murder that brings a band of unlikely heroes face-to-face with their greatest threat. We will find some Biblical themes and moral dilemmas to explore in this suspense novel. Join us on Wednesday, May 14 at 11:00 a.m. in the church parlor.

ARE YOU INTERESTED?

In becoming a member of Parma-South Presbyterian Women? Would you like to attend a gathering of Presbyterian Women? As you heard during the Worship on Celebration of the Gift of Women Sunday, being a member of a circle can be an important part of your spiritual life.

WE DID IT!!!!

Not only was the Walk for Hunger a HUGE success once again, but we beat our fundraising goal! PSPC Members GENEROUSLY donated $335, the Brunch raised $405 and the walkers raised $726 from outside supporters! Our goal for this year's walk was to raise $1000 and our total donation to the Hunger Network for 2008 was $1466! We also had 28 walkers this year - which is our biggest group ever! Thanks to everyone who donated and walked with us and we hope for another WONDERFUL year next year!

New this year, teams of two can combine forces to solicit joint pledges and split the holes golfed. It is a great day of fun and fellowship in support of IHN.
